Malvern Archers has been going in some form since 1905 and except for a brief break during the wars and a change of name or two, we’re still here and stronger than ever!
We are based at Manor Park in the heart of Malvern with terrific views of the hills and are one of the original sports at this historic club. We have the dedicated use of a 100 yard field at Manor Park which is available all year round for our members’ use. Although we do migrate indoors over the winter, you will still find the hardier members of the club shooting down the field at the weekends.
As a club we have had considerable success and our achievements are listed on the records page on the website. Our junior section is particularly prolific at gaining records and medals! We have several coaches as members who are always happy to impart advice on technique and style.
We are a small, friendly club that caters for all styles and abilities. Whilst we do have members that compete at the highest standards, shooting in tournaments most weekends, there are also those who just like to unwind for a few hours and shoot purely for pleasure. We welcome one and all alike.
As life isn’t all about archery we also socialise outside of the sport, with the local tavern being often frequented after shooting. We also have several more ‘organised’ social events throughout the year, including a fun-shoot and barbeque, a winter beer and skittles night, and of course the after tournament party! As a member of Malvern Archers, you will also be a member of the Manor Park Sports club which has a very reasonably priced bar as well as several social events during the year.
So whether you are a seasoned archer or a complete novice, Malvern Archers will always be happy to hear from you.
